I want to set up solar power in my home. How would i be able to do that? Is there a guide somewhere that can help me set it up?

I want to install solar power pannels to my home to reduce the energy consumptions. Whats the best way to start, What is the approximate cost to install for a single family Home.

What is the average cost to start placing solar panels in your home? Any info on this would be appreciated, I live in Eastern KY. Thanks

Does someone know a cost effective, easy way to build a fuctional device that permits electrochemical disociation of water into Oxygen and Hydrogen by means of direct solar radiation? I don’t mean a photovoltaic cell atached to a couple of electrodes. My idea is starting to study this method of solar energy storage at home. Do you think it’s possible?

I have a few solar cells for a vacation home (~20w, 12VDC) and would like to create just enough electricity when i am away to keep maintainence costs down, while using the power company as a giant battery for excess when I am home. Since I am only there once a month or so, i would like to keep costs as low as possible, so these are not permanent fixtures. And I would like to be able to just plug it into the wall.
each panel is 20w

I am interested in finding out more information on getting home solar power units for the house, and I saw an ad for free home solar panels. In the ad they say it may be free through government rebates, I am looking for the website address that goes along with this ad.
And to find out if it is too good to be true..
